Our Activities

Being a learner-centric platform, we regularly host workshops, activities and sessions for middle and secondary stage high-school learners (Age Group Class 5 onward). We conduct it in small groups allowing us to provide each learner with individual attention that they need in order to get the most out of our programs. We also conduct workshops for schools in their premises. We design and conduct customized courses as per the curricular requirements. Here are some of the workshops from domains such as engineering-technology, design thinking, systems thinking.

Technology based…

  • How things work? (focus on analysis working scientific principles, usability, function & constructions of a product)
  • How things work? (focus on mechanical concepts  and elements of mechanisms in everyday products)
  • Toy based learning (our featured course with toy based pedagogy)
  • Introductory digital 3D sculpt modelling (hands-on with a cloud based platform)
  • Digital 3D modelling (hands-on with a cloud based platform)
  • 3D printing workshop (hands-on process introduction from concept to reality)
  • 3D printing project (advanced level activity with project based learning)
  • Simple mechanisms designing and making (hands-on activity with simple materials)
  • Exposure to electronic circuits  (with Arduino platform, sensors & actuators)
  • Electronics design project (advanced level activity with project based learning)

Design Based…

  • Representation techniques – product sketching (as a tool of idea visualization & communication)
  • Technical representation techniques – Orthography & Isometry (as a tool of idea visualization & communication with accurate sizes & standard practices)
  • Introduction to design principles (sensitization workshop  to observe and record the world around us with trained eyes)
  • Design thinking on real life problems (situational problem solving with design process)
  • Simple design project  (advanced design process driven project based learning on situational problem solving)

Systems-thinking based…

  • Simple principles of systems thinking through activities (introductory workshop for sensitization and awareness the world around us)
  • Making systems visual (tools and techniques to map systems and visual representation of the bigger picture of the world around us)
  • Systems thinking through childhood stories (seeing systems in various situations)
  • Systems project  (advanced project based learning on holistic problem solving)
